Child and Adolescent Grand Rounds: Update on Treatment of Anxiety - May 21
John T. Walkup, MD will present "Update on Treatment of Anxiety" at the May 21st Child and Adolescent Grand Rounds. The rounds, which are sponsored by the Department of Psychiatry, take place from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm in Uris Auditorium.
Dr. Walkup is a Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at
Johns Hopkins Medicine. He received his MD at the University of Minnesota and completed his residency in General Pediatrics at Yale University School of Medicine and his Child and Adolescent Psychiatry residency at Yale University Child Study Center, where he also completed a Child Psychiatry fellowship. Dr. Walkup is Deputy Director of the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He also serves as the Principal Investigator of the Johns Hopkins Research Unit of Pediatric Psychopharmacology and Psychosocial Interventions. His areas of expertise include psychopharmacology, Tourette's syndrome, obsessive compulsive disorder and other anxiety disorders.
