On Tuesday, March 25, William L. Carroll, M.D., will address Pediatric Grand Rounds with a talk entitled, "Advances in the Treatment of Childhood Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia." Dr. Carroll is the Julie and Edward J. Minskoff Professor of Pediatrics at New York University School of Medicine and Director of the NYU Cancer Institute. Pediatric Grand Rounds are held in Uris Auditorium from 8:30 am - 9:30 am.
Dr. Carroll is internationally recognized as a leader in genomics research, specifically in the area of childhood tumors. He received his M.D. from the University of California-Irvine and completed his residency in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at Stanford University Medical Center. He has served as Deputy Director of the NYU Cancer Institute, Medical Director of the Stephen D. Hassenfeld Children's Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders, and Chief of the Division of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at NYU.
