Multidisciplinary discussion about swine flu; Grand Rounds focuses on emergences of H1N1

Tuesday, September 8, 2009, the Department of Medicine Grand Rounds hosts
"Emergences of Swine Origin H1N1 Influenza: A Multidisciplinary Perspective." The presentation will take place in Uris Auditorium, 1320 York Avenue at 12:00 P.M.
The session features faculty across departments including influenza expert
Anne Moscona, M.D., the Director of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Weill Cornell Medical College. Dr. Moscona is also Professor of Pediatrics and Microbiology and Immunology as well as Vice Chair of Pediatrics for Research.
Other presenters include
Nathaniel Hubert, M.D., M.P.H., Associate Professor of Public Health at Weill Cornell, and
Stephen G. Jenkins, Ph.D., Director of Clinical Microbiology Services and Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Weill Cornell.
