The future of clinical research - Jan 11th, 12pm presentation by Julianne Imperato-McGinley MD, Director and Principal Investigator of the CTSC
 



All clinical researchers in pediatrics including faculty, residents and fellows are invited to a presentation by Julianne Imperato-McGinley MD, Associate Dean for Translational Research and Education. Dr. Imperato-McGinley is the Director and Principal Investigator of the new Clinical and Translational Science Center (CTSC) at Weill Cornell Medical College. She will speak at Professor's Rounds on Friday, January 11 (12-1 pm, Room A-126) about the future of clinical research.

"The Clinical and Translational Science Center (CTSC) provides investigators with state-of-the-art resources
for conducting clinical / translational research. This novel center was established through the integration of resources among institutions on York Avenue – The Avenue – and in the immediate area. Within this small geographic area lies a network of renowned institutions dedicated to research, teaching, patient care and community engagement.

Weill Cornell Medical Center (WCMC), the lead institution, is the Center’s academic home through which, technological tools, essential resources and education programs can be efficiently shared and managed. The partner institutions located on York Avenue are : Weill Cornell Medical Center (WCMC), Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Institute (MSKCC) and the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS)."
